At first appearance Drew Niv doesn't inspire images of Wall Street's Gordon Gekko, but he has managed to build a Forex trading empire through uncommon business savvy and an almost imperceptibly cool toughness. For the last dozen years, the currency trading business has been like the old wild west and Niv has taken FXCM from a fledgling startup to one of the industry's elite companies.
Now facing possible litigation due to accusations of irregularities prior to FXCM's December IPO, Drew Niv, once again, has to strap on his six shooters and go out to battle for his company. If his track record is any indication, I think Drew Niv will do just fine.
