Alpari Launches Ramadan Campaign

Alpari ME DMCCAlpari ME DMCC, part of the Alpari group of companies, has expanded its Middle East presence by opening its new larger office in Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC).

Combined, the Alpari group of companies generated trading volumes of more than $210 billion in May 2011, up 31 per cent from November 2010. Alpari ME says its office expansion comes in response to growing demand and massive volumes being traded throughout the Middle East.

Alpari ME DMCC's newly expanded, bilingually staffed office in Dubai, based in the AU Tower in the DMCC, was opened on 19 July by Alpari ME DMCC CEO Iskandar Najjar.

"This is an important milestone for Alpari ME DMCC in the region. There has been unprecedented increase in the usage of online trading platforms by investors in the Middle East over the last decade. Our presence in the DMCC significanltly enhances our regional offering and will soon enable us to provide an unrivalled service, by combining our on-the-ground, in house economic research with pioneering technology."

The day also marked the signing of an agreement between Alpari (UK) and SOS Children's Villages, the lending non-government social organisation aimed at building families for children in need. Alpari (UK) will donate $1 for every lot traded through the Holy Month of Ramadan, as part of the company's efforts to provide opportunities to communities across the Middle East.

The Ramadan campaign is the inaugural collaboration of the two organisations and is expected to raise tens of thousands of dollars for children across the region. Clients using the Alpari (UK) platform can opt in at www.alpari.ae.
