FSA is an abbreviation for Financial Services Authority.
Most countries have established regulatory authorities and central banks to control,
manage and monitor their respective economies. Additionally, some regulatory authorities
maintain registries of companies that are licensed (or authorized) to act as a futures
or commodities broker in that country. In the U.S., that function is served by the
Commodities Futures Trading Commission (CFTC)
and the National Futures Association (NFA).
We already have a complete list of international
Regulatory Authorities
but this quick list provides direct links to the registers of Financial Services
Authorities around the world. It is not a complete list, but it will be updated
as we identify additional resources. So, if you want to check whether or not a company
is registered (regulated) in your country, you can use this list as a resource.
